I love saying her name, it rolls off the tongue like a nursery rhyme.

I met Holly back in High school, she was in my music class, and I always looked forward to music classes, and not just because of the clarinet! Holly had an energy that was pretty scarce in High School, she was happy, and encouraging and always positive. She was one of those people, who, no matter what she touched, she left it just a little shinier, a little happier, a little more Holly-esque.

FastForward about 15 years (yikes) and I meet up with Holly once again, through my niece and nephew. It was about the time that she had started to pick up the camera for more than just her family. She was doing portrait sessions, and was really rocking them. She can pose a family like no other. She catches the best moments, when families are being families, it's like she's allowed the viewer to become that proverbial fly on the wall..

You see her subjects for who they are. And I know, it's because of that killer personality, that killer smile, her kind eyes, and her genuine love of life, and everything she touches, that allow people to feel amazing as themselves, so that is who they are in their pictures.
